This is a solid carbide, two flute straight bit. The cutting length is 3/8" with a 1/4" shank. The overall length is 2". These bits are often used in CNC routers because they are fragile and feed rate is important. A solid carbide bit will normally cut longer than a carbide tipped bit. They are resharpenable.
